XEOMIN BROW LIFT or BROW BALANCE
Xeomin or Botox Cosmetic injected at the lateral sides of the eyebrows has the ability to sculpt and give a beautiful lateral lift, a “chemical eyelift” to the brows. Strategically and carefully placed Botox injections by one of our trained physicians will lift the position of the eyebrows, create a pleasing arch, and gives a rested and more alert appearance to the eyes. This operation can also be applied to asymmetric
eyebrows, 3-5 Botox units are usually used in this area.
XEOMIN - BUNNY LINES
Bunny Lines treatment with Botox, Dysport or Xeomin at Struong Cosmetic.
Bunny Lines are fine lines that show up on the nasal bridge. Bunny Lines are caused by repeated squinting, smiling and sniffing.
At Struong Cosmetic we inject approximately 3-5 units of Botox on each side of the nasal bridge, which allows these muscles to relax.

Some women may develop fine crepey and wrinkly lines at the central mid chest (décolleté) with aging, in contrast to the mere youthful looking skin of the face, creating an overly aged

XEOMIN - CROW’S FEET
Crow’s Feet lines radiate from the outer edge of the eyes and resemble crow’s feet, particularly when smiling. They are caused by the contraction of the orbicularis oculi- a thin and circular muscle that surrounds and moves the eye. Botox can be used to eliminate these lines by relaxing this muscle. Usually, 10-15 units of Botox
are needed per side.
XEOMIN - EXCESSIVE SWEATING
Struong Cosmetic offers Excessive Sweating Treatment with Botox/Xeomin (or longer lasting solution with Miradry). Excessive sweating, or
hyperhidrosis, is caused by the stimulation of the sweat glands by nerve endings which descend from higher centers in the brain. Excessive sweating on the forehead, armpits, underarms, palms, scalp and soles is a common problem that can be very annoying and socially handicapping. Topical treatments can work by
reducing sweating in these regions. These products can be irritating with continued use and are ineffective for many people. Oral medications currently used for excessive sweating often provide relief but cause side effects such as dry mouth and blurry vision. Tap water iontophoresis is not very effective and surgical alternatives can cause pain and scarring and may result in permanent skin numbness. BOTOX® prevents sweating for months by blocking the release of the neurotransmitter- acetylcholine, from the nerve endings, that causes the glands to produce sweat.
At Struong Cosmetic we make 15 to 20 small and painless xeomin injections into each underarm which decrease sweating by 90% within 48 hours and usually last from 6 to 10 months.
XEOMIN - FOREHEAD LINES
Botox/Xeomin treatment for Forehead Lines For Horizontal lines on the forehead that appear when one raises his/her eyebrows, Botox can be injected into the forehead to relax these lines. Usually, 10-15 units are enough, depending on the size and strength of the muscles, one’s gender and how deep these lines are. This also
Xeomin often improves tension headaches and even migraines related to the repeated tightening of these muscles. Forehead injections should be used with precision and caution to avoid droopiness of the eyebrows.
XEOMIN - FROWN (11) LINES
Botox/Xeomin treatment for Frown Lines (11) lines. Also called glabella lines for which Botox injections have received FDA approval. It develops with time between the eyebrows as two vertical lines (A.K.A. the 11) as a result of repeated squinting and scowling.
When Botox/Xeomin is injected into the scowling (corrugator) muscles, it causes these muscles to relax and gives one a more relaxed and enhanced appearance. Depending on the size and strength of these muscles our physicians will determine how many units are needed. The average amount of Botox used for the Frown
lines is around 20-24 Botox/Xeomin units for a female and about 20 to 30 units for male patients as their facial muscles are often larger, thicker and stronger. Another benefit of Botox injected between the eyebrows is often improved tension headaches and even
migraines related to the repeated tightening of these muscles.
XEOMIN - GUMMY SMILE
The elevation of one’s upper lip far above their upper teeth, exposing gums produces the “Gummy Smile.” This is the result of a
hyperactive muscle which pulls the lip too far up when smiling. Sometimes the “gummy smile” is aggravated by a thin upper lip that contributes to the problem by exposing the upper gum even more. Individuals, whose gums stand out more than their smile does, often control their smiles and can look depressed or angry. Botox when injected at certain strategic points above the upper lips, by
a highly trained physician, lowers the upper lip by up to 5 mm to hide the gums and give a more beautiful smile. The technique is very delicate and if not performed professionally, may result in a crooked smile. If a thin upper lip is a contributing factor our specialists at Struong Cosmetic may suggest upper lip augmentation with Juvederm.
XEOMIN JAW REDUCTION and SLIMMING OF THE FACE
This Botox injection technique reduces the flare and width of a wide jaw line without surgery. Reduction of a wide jaw line and/or
slimming of the lower face improves facial harmony and softens the appearance of a round face into a more oval and gentle one. Some people are genetically predisposed to a wide jaw line while others develop it through habits like teeth grinding and frequent gum chewing. The masseter muscle is the main muscle responsible for chewing and teeth grinding. Dr Truong will help you to decide if you are a good candidate for jaw line reduction by evaluating the thickness of your masseter muscle. When Botox is injected
into the masseter muscle it partially relaxes it, thus the underused muscle loses its mass and shrinks. Botox injections into the masseter require no anesthesia and has no downtime. Results are seen in about 6 weeks. Usually, 20 to 25 units of Botox are required per side. Result will last between 6 to 18 months. On occasion one may experience tiring of the jaw after chewing for a while, but this is only temporary and will go away with time. XEOMIN NECK BANDS
Neck Bands treatment with Botox, Dysport or Xeomin at Struong Cosmetic. With age the muscle underneath the neck skin separates
into bands thus creating vertical cords. This and horizontal lines of the neck can be improved with the Botox, Dysport or Xeomin injections. Usually 10 units of Botox are injected per band.
XEOMIN SLIM LEGS (CALF MUSCLES REDUCTION)
The BOTOX® is injected to gasctrocnemius muscle and about one week later, the muscle of calf will start to shrink, because the
peripheral motor nerves are blocked by the injections. It’s last for about 6 months. After that, you’ll need another injection to maintain the shape of your desired legs.
XEOMIN - SMOKER LINES
These are vertical lines that develop on the skin part of the lip. They commonly but not necessarily come from smoking. Best results are achieved for patients with a few large but not highly etched-in wrinkles. For this procedure Botox should be given in minimal doses (0.5-1 U per wrinkle) to minimize weakness in this area, as lips have an essential role in facial functioning. combination treatment with Juvederm may be required for optimal
results in these patients. Even in appropriate doses, Botox injections in this area may prevent patients from being able to drink through a straw or whistle.
TEETH GRINDING TMD
Temporo Mandibular Joint Disorder or bruxism negatively affects a large number of Americans. Very often people are not even aware of it, unless told by someone or their dentist notices wearing on their teeth. Teeth grinding can result in headaches, earaches, facial pain, chipped-teeth and may enlarge the masseter muscle, leading to a round-square face and wide jaw line. 20 units of
Botox injections per masseter muscle will help individuals with severe bruxism. Results from Botox treatment of bruxism start a day or two after injection and improve as the masseter muscles shrink over the following few treatments. The treatment does not interfere with chewing or smiling because the injected dose of Botox
is relatively small, but big enough to stop bruxism. Additionally, patients treated for teeth grinding have reported a significant reduction in their stress level.
XEOMIN - WRINKLED and DIMPLED CHIN
This is a chin that gets wrinkled during talking, smiling and eating. It can be easily corrected by injecting 5-10 units of Botox into several points at the base of the chin. Wrinkles are smoothed out as the underlying muscles relax.
