Overview
Hair transplant surgery permanently restores hair to thinning or bald areas using your own hair follicles. Using the advanced FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) technique, individual follicles are harvested from the donor area and precisely implanted into the recipient area — creating a completely natural-looking hairline with no linear scar.
How It Works
In FUE, individual follicular units (1–4 hairs each) are extracted one by one from the donor area (typically the back and sides of the scalp) using a micro-punch tool. The follicles are then carefully implanted into tiny recipient sites in the thinning or bald area at the correct angle, depth, and direction to mimic natural hair growth. Sessions typically take 6–8 hours.
What to Expect
Consultation includes assessment of your hair loss pattern, donor density, and goals. We discuss the number of grafts needed and design your hairline together. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia. You will be awake and comfortable throughout.
Recovery
Mild redness and scabbing in the recipient area resolves within 7–10 days. Transplanted hairs shed at 2–4 weeks (normal) and begin regrowing at 3–4 months. Full results are visible at 12–18 months.
