IPL Photofacial

Reveal clearer, more radiant skin

Overview

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) Photofacial is a non-invasive light-based treatment that targets and corrects a wide range of skin concerns — sun damage, hyperpigmentation, rosacea, broken capillaries, and uneven skin tone — while stimulating collagen production for smoother, more youthful skin. It's often called a 'photo-rejuvenation' treatment for its ability to reverse years of sun damage.

How It Works

A handheld device delivers broad-spectrum light pulses to the skin. The light energy is absorbed by pigmented cells (melanin) and blood vessels, breaking them down without damaging surrounding tissue. The body then naturally eliminates the targeted cells, revealing clearer skin. Each session takes 20–30 minutes.

What to Expect

A cool gel is applied to the treatment area. The IPL device is passed over the skin, delivering light pulses that feel like a gentle snap. Pigmented spots may darken temporarily before flaking off over 1–2 weeks. A series of 3–5 treatments spaced 3–4 weeks apart is recommended.

Recovery

Minimal. Treated pigmented spots darken and flake off over 7–14 days. Mild redness resolves within hours. Avoid sun exposure and use SPF 30+ daily.
