Sculptra
Rebuild collagen for gradual, long-lasting facial rejuvenation
Overview
Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) biostimulatory injectable that works differently from traditional fillers. Rather than adding immediate volume, Sculptra stimulates your body's own collagen production over time — gradually restoring facial volume, improving skin thickness, and reversing the hollowing that comes with age. Results develop over 3–6 months and last up to 2 years.
How It Works
Sculptra is injected into deep facial tissue in areas of volume loss — typically the temples, cheeks, and jawline. The PLLA microparticles act as a scaffold that triggers a controlled collagen-building response. Results develop gradually over 3–6 months as new collagen forms. A series of 2–3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart is typically recommended.
What to Expect
Consultation includes facial volume assessment and a discussion of your goals and timeline. Sculptra is not an instant result — we discuss the gradual nature of the treatment and set realistic expectations. Sessions take 30–45 minutes.
Recovery
Mild swelling and bruising may occur and resolve within a few days. The '5-5-5 rule' applies: massage the treated area for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days post-treatment to ensure even distribution.
