Microdermabrasion

Treatment

Microdermabrasion

Gentle mechanical exfoliation for smoother, brighter skin

Overview

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive mechanical exfoliation treatment that uses fine crystals or a diamond-tipped wand to gently remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells. The result is immediately smoother, brighter, more radiant skin with no downtime — making it an ideal maintenance treatment or complement to more intensive procedures.

How It Works

A handheld device either sprays fine aluminum oxide crystals or uses a diamond-tipped tip to abrade the skin surface while simultaneously vacuuming away the exfoliated cells and debris. The suction also stimulates blood flow and mild collagen production. Treatment takes 30–45 minutes.

What to Expect

Treatment is comfortable — most patients describe a mild scratching or vibrating sensation. Skin appears immediately smoother and more radiant. A series of 6 treatments spaced 2 weeks apart is recommended for optimal results.

Recovery

No downtime. Mild redness resolves within hours. Avoid direct sun exposure and use SPF post-treatment. Makeup can be applied the same day.
