How It Works
A small amount of your blood is drawn and placed in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelet-rich plasma. This PRP — packed with growth factors — is then applied topically during microneedling or injected directly into targeted areas. The growth factors stimulate collagen and elastin production over the following weeks.
What to Expect
Treatment takes about 60–90 minutes. After blood draw and centrifugation, PRP is applied via microneedling or injection. Mild redness and swelling are normal for 24–48 hours. Results build gradually over 4–6 weeks as collagen regenerates, with optimal results after a series of 3 treatments.
Recovery
24–48 hours of redness and mild swelling. Avoid sun exposure and strenuous activity for 24 hours. Most patients return to normal activities the next day.
